At Main Street Kitchen the seasonally changing a la carte menu offers variety and choice and maintain the tradition of tasty food well prepared using fresh ingredients sourced from a small number of local and international suppliers.

Italian influenced dishes clearly have a classical base and the modern take on timeless flavours bears witness to a passion for cooking.

The restaurant serves a mixture of pizzas and pastas, small dishes, sharing platters and salads, as well as seasonal specials. Classic puddings such as homemade chocolate brownies and a range of small puddings are featured.

Simple but sophisticated. Attentive but informal.

Everything is made in-house wherever possible: from pizza dough and freshly baked bread to soup and salad dressings, figs in syrup to chocolate sauce.

Award-winning coffee, homemade cakes and cookies, snacks and drinks from the bar are served all day.

The building on Main Street was purpose built in the Sixties as a bank. A predominantly local team of contractors undertook the conversion to a restaurant.

The restaurant features a main dining room with bar serving counter, a smaller intimate room, and an efficient semi-open galley kitchen. The bank’s former vault houses the WC’s.

Outside the old bank’s archive store has been converted into a dough studio and stores.

A secluded landscaped garden with benches and striking white parasols is something guests rarely want to leave on a sunny day or evening.

From Burns Night to the Frodsham Christmas Festival, a quarterly calendar of events ranging from food and wine tastings, theme nights, to live music are offered.

The restaurant is available for hire and events up to 50 can be accommodated.

Along Main Street, you can park free for 2 hours. There is also the train station car park.
