“Expertly crafted chocolate drinks” will be available at a NEW chocolate shop on Chester’s Northgate Street.
A coffee company called Knoops Chocolate is committed to making the ideal hot chocolate, and they offer a variety of mixes from creamy, smooth combinations to richer, darker flavours. At 33 Northgate Street, the location of the former Blackstocks fish and chip business, which closed in January 2022, the establishment is anticipated to open in November.
About 20 distinct chocolate blends, ranging in proportion from the traditional mild 34 percent milk hot chocolate to 72 and even 100 percent extra dark chocolate, are available on the Knoops menu.

Finding the “perfect” combination for customers is the foundation of the Knoops concept, with extra ingredients like sea salt, citrus zest, and chilli added to finish the dish.
Chester BID greeted Knoops Chocolate on Twitter, stating: “Northgate Street will soon see a new opening.”

Say “see you soon.”

The cafés serve hot chocolate, a variety of specialty teas and coffees, as well as iced chocolate drinks, milkshakes, and vegan versions of all of these items.

Along with your beverage, many of the stores also sell a variety of delicious baked items, including as brownies, doughnuts, and pastel de nata.

With two locations in Manchester, the Chester facility will mark the brand’s third outpost in the Northwest.

In order to share his love of traditional candies, Jens Knoop started Knoops in 2013. He set up shop in Rye, East Sussex.

Since then, Jens has expanded the number of Knoops locations, assembled a group of passionate chocolate consumers around him, created a line of chocolate flakes for use at home and even published a cookbook on chocolate.

The store will take the place of Blackstocks, which was located in the city centre and closed last year to the dismay of many, claiming declining foot traffic and growing expenses.
