Calling All Foodies! The Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival Returns for Three Delicious Days #Events

The renowned Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival is gearing up for its next exciting edition, promising three days of culinary delights over Easter Weekend from 30th March to 1st April 2024. This beloved event, held at Chester Racecourse by Taste Cheshire, is a haven for food enthusiasts and gourmands alike, showcasing the very best of Cheshire’s and the region’s food and drink scene.

This year the festival will play host to celebrity chefs, Simon Rimmer, Paul Rankin and Miguel Barclay along with a host of local chefs showing off the best of Cheshire food and drink.

Miguel Barclay, the budget-friendly maestro: Kicking off the festival on Saturday, March 30th, Miguel Barclay, the mastermind behind the #onepoundmeals phenomenon, will take the stage. With 7 best-selling cookbooks under his belt and appearances on shows like Saturday Kitchen and This Morning, he’s sure to inspire attendees to get creative in the kitchen, proving delicious dishes don’t have to break the bank.

Paul Rankin, the culinary ambassador of Northern Ireland: Bringing his wealth of experience on Sunday, March 31st, Paul Rankin, renowned for changing the face of Northern Irish cuisine, will grace the festival stage. A familiar face from Ready Steady Cook and his own travel series Paul and Nick’s Big Food Trip, he’ll share his passion for regional flavours and innovative cooking techniques.

Simon Rimmer, the beloved TV chef and restaurateur: Wrapping up the festival on Monday, April 1st, Simon Rimmer, the ever-popular host of Sunday Brunch, will bring his infectious enthusiasm and culinary expertise to the stage. Known for his approachable recipes and dedication to fresh, seasonal ingredients, he’s sure to entertain and inspire with his cooking demonstrations.
