You can start your quest for locally-sourced food at the very beginning of the process at Norton Priory by buying a plant or fruit tree to grow at home. For amid the engaging sights at this 800-year-old religious retreat - the ruins of a priory, a Georgian walled garden, museum and sculpture trail - herbs, vegetables and fruits grown, including the national collection of quince trees.
