You could spend a very busy day at this vast garden centre furnishing your home and garden from its wide selection of products. Hungry work, so its lucky the Bents family have laid on a similarly huge selection of refreshments in their Fresh Approach Restaurant and Caffe nel Verde, with capacity for 900 tired shoppers.
The Centre’s new Food Hall features speciality foods and ingredients from local and international suppliers. Sourced from suppliers with the most impeccable provenance, it features free range, organic and GM free products that offer customers the ultimate extras for a decadent dining experience, from mouth-watering marinades, relishes and dressings to moreish appetisers and unusual savoury products. An exclusive hamper service enables customers to create their own special combination or put together a unique gift.
For chocoholics and those with a sweet tooth, Bents also has a fine selection of handmade fondants and fancies, as well as delicious Belgium chocolates from the chocolate counter which are handmade in Brugges.
Organic, free-range and GM-free speciality products are on the menu, many locally sourced - eggs come from Poplars Farm at Antrobus and organic vegetables from the Farm Shed in Wigan.
There's an extensive array of sandwiches, salads, soups, hot dishes and desserts on offer, all created in the centre's kitchen.
Located just off the East Lancs Road A580 at the Greyhound roundabout near Leigh. Follow the brown signs.
