Fresh food is served all day at this Warrington favourite - from breakfast through to dinner, an extensive menu is offered to diners, cooking on the kitchen Aga.

Local produce includes sausages from F Houghton in Warrington and Cheshrie cheese from Joseph Heler in Hatherton.

Shelly's enthusiastic approach to serving good food has proved a winner - last year Shelly's picked up the Northwest prize in Britain's Best Caff Award. And in true 'caff' style, this is an excellent place to enjoy a cup of tea - she's a member of the prestigious Tea Guild. "We have the good old idea of a teabag for you and one for the pot!" says Shelly.
