Since Shipbrook Hill Farm became organic eight years ago, its owners, the Bennett family, have spread the word about how food production doesn't have to cost the earth.
At their shop, Riverside Organics, all the food is traceable - fruit, vegetables and herbs, chicken, eggs, lamb and beef are all grown and reared on the farm.
Special events are held here too. At Farm Tots - a parent and toddler group, pre-school children can learn where food comes from.
On open days, walks and tractor rides are on offer. In fact, the Bennetts are currently laying down miles of paths and cycle tracks, so that everyone can enjoy the beautiful surroundings - the farmstead overlooks the flood meadows of the Dane Valley, so keep an eye out for lapwing, partridges, skylark and hares.
