Friars Park Jacobs

Established just a few years ago by Tom & Georgina Jones. Friars Park Jacobs is situated near Chester just on the Welsh Border. Based in Cheshire their sheep thrive on the good lush Cheshire Grass. Ideally located just two minutes from Chester Zoo and also two minutes from the M56 motorway.

Having initially started with the purchase of 15 unregistered ewes and a registered tup. They have now carefully introduced some pedigree registered ewes into the flock. Taking care that they get the correct breed type and characteristics. The flock has increased such that they now have 60 breeding ewes, some remain unregistered but the majority are now registered and have some home-grown shearling ewes to go into the flock next year to take the breeding ewes to 70.

All products are sold through their website or through the families farm shop - Mollington Meats. The ewe lambs are sold at weaning to go on for breeding, the majority of the ram lambs are sold in whole or half lamb freezer packs to villagers who have watched the lambs flourish on the good grass and know just where there lamb has come from. We are very proud of our traceability and the lamb can be traced from birth to plate.
