Farm Shops and Farmers Markets
This is the most exciting new area of the Taste market and in Cheshire we have some great examples of what makes a great Taste shopping experience.
The whole region has no end of fresh and locally produced food for you to try, and you can use these pages to search for it.
A former recipient of the Taste of Cheshire Award, The Hollies Farm Shops are a great example of how fresh, local produce should be. Hollies Farm has shops in both Tarporley and Lower Stretton and are well worth a visit.
At the other end of the county the Hawarden farm estate is just bulging with not only their own locally reared produce but a collection of other local farmers who all showcase through this stunning “super” market of local delicacies.
Other shops that are deserving of a visit include Country Cuisines Farm Shop in Northwich and Hall Farm Shop in Alsager.
For the Cheese lover, when in Chester make sure you visit Carol and Anne at “The Cheese Shop” in Northgate St, they don’t just know cheese they know more local food trails then you will even find on here.
