Learn about the lives of workers who once toiled in this huge cotton mill and be transported back to the days of the Industrial Revolution. In contrast enjoy the seasonal displays of colour in the mill owner’s garden. A strong sense of tradition is also present in the cultivation of fruit,
vegetables and herbs which are grown in the Apprentice House garden. Our team select from this seasonal produce to create dishes served in the mill kitchen restaurant. In keeping with our commitment of ‘going local’ we also use where possible locally produced goods and locally-brewed beer.
