The much-awaited Brasserie at the Alderley Edge Hotel, offering a new eating experience for food-lovers from across Cheshire, was unveiled by General Manager Ahmet Kurcer last week.

And The Brasserie’s offering of simple, high quality Retro Classic food with a slightly modern twist, proved popular with customers who flocked to the Macclesfield Road award-winning hotel.

“I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of people who have come in to try the new Brasserie,” said Mr Kurcer. “They have been as delighted as I am with the design, lay-out and the relaxing ambience.

“They also seem to like the fact that we will be open throughout the day and evening, serving dishes at prices which will enable them to dine with us often. However, it was the Brasserie’s menu that impressed them most.”

Featuring simple, high quality dishes, there are many old favourites which whilst retaining their identity are given a modern twist by the team of innovative Chefs.

“The Scampi and Monkfish ‘In a Basket’ will bring back fond memories, as undoubtedly will Chicken Kiev, with Smokey bacon, Sautéed Greens and Mash,” said Mr Kurcer. “There are lots of exciting dishes to choose from priced from £2.50 up to £16.95 and to suit every appetite. Whether you just want a light snack or something more substantial you won’t be disappointed.”

And the favourite snack of the opening week was The Brasserie’s special triple cooked Chips accompanied by a glass of Champagne.

“Our first week has been an overwhelming success and I am looking forward to welcoming new customers to a style of eating that combines quality food with a very relaxed atmosphere,” added Mr Kurcer. “I am excited that here at The Alderley Edge Hotel we can now offer two very different dining experiences; The Brasserie for relaxed enjoyment and the 3 rosette Alderley restaurant for continued fine dining.”
